The Fraudulent & very expansive War on Terror

In The Art of War, written 500 years B.C., Sun Tzu wrote: “There is no instance of a nation benefitting from prolonged warfare.”

Without counting future costs from things like medical care for the wounded veterans, the 14-year-old War on Terror has already cost the U.S. taxpayer some $1.7 trillion.

Apart from the criminal waste of money (all borrowed funds with interest payments to be added) there are other losses that cannot be measured in dollars:
- the loss of more than one million lives;
- the destruction of whole nations (e.g. Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Libya);
- the physical and mental damage suffered by combatants and people on all sides;
- and the loss of American prestige and morale.

This graphic below illustrates the criminal nature of the War on Terror, which consumes $400 million per [U.S.] victim of terrorism per year. The U.S. has spent nearly $1.7 trillion of borrowed money fighting wars since 2001. When do we say enough?
