What is your real vocation, if you are really free ?
What would you do if your income were taken care of ?

Billions for wars, why not for the Peace ?

Geneva, Plainpalais, the 14 May 2016

Robolution, robots at work and we share...

A robolution, robots at work and we share or even better, we distribute...

Swiss basic income, arguments

A new paradigm ! Too much products thanks to robots ? How to distribute all those goods ?

The iconic performance on video will be shown on a large screen at the New York City Times Square (7:45PM NY time) to demonstrate the global scale of the political idea of the Unconditional Basic Income.

Not only Switzerland is currently taking the first steps towards the introductionof an UBI. Finnland, Holland as well as the USA are actively discussing about the introduction of an UBI.

Switzerland will be the first country in the world to take a public vote on the introduction of UBI on 5th June 2016. For the campaign, the “biggest question” on the poster touches one of the main arguments of UBI: A true “walk-away option” to everybody. In the opinion of the Swiss campaign, “everybody should have the right to decide what they want to do with their lives.”

Just an hour ago it is been made official by Guinness World Records: The new record holder in the category “Largest Poster” is Basic Income Switzerland.

Newsfeed Interviews Geneva
00:02:09 - 00:02:19
ITV Marilola Wili (Generation Grundeinkommen)
Translation ENG: We’re at Plainpalais in Geneva. We’re about to roll out the biggest question in the world on the biggest poster in the world. It’s the only place in Switzerland where we’re able to roll out this huge poster.
Translation FR: Nous sommes à plainpalais à Genève.
00:02:19 - 00:02:43
ITV Hanes Sturzenegger (Generation Grundeinkommen)
Translation ENG: It’s the first time that people will vote about an unconditional basic income. The fundamental question of this referendum is: What would you do if your income were taken care of? We want to discuss this question by putting it on the worlds biggest poster so no one can avoid it.
00:02:43 - 00:03:11
ITV Hanes Sturzenegger (Generation Grundeinkommen)
Translation ENG: This poster is 5.5 tons heavy. 30 people were woking on it and 13 people were painting at the same time. The poster is 110 meters long and 73 meters wide. We have golden letters on a black background.
Translation FR: Cette affiche pèse 5.5 tonnes.
00:03:11 - 00:03:27
ITV Che Wagner (Generation Grundeinkommen)
Spoken words (ENG): Every inhabitant should get a basic income floor which is payed out unconditionally. So there’s no strings attached to these payments and that’s a very new way of having a social welfare system here in Switzerland.
00:03:27 - 00:04:03
ITV Che Wagner (Generation Grundeinkommen)
Spoken words (ENG): I think this system works because everybody in society, especially in Swiss society, agrees that everybody should have a minimum level of dignity and an income. And I think everybody agrees on that and all we are doing with this initiative is saying „why don’t we pay that unconditionally. Why don’t we trust our citizens to make the best out of their lives. And I think it’s crucial to ask this specific question: What would you work if your income were taken care of? Because that’s the key question of this referendum.
00:04:03 - 00:04:27
ITV Lena Kuhlmann (Guinness World Record Referee)
Spoken words (ENG): Generation Grundeinkommen attempted today the official Guinness World Record title of the largest poster. To beat was the number of 7’164.78 quare meters and Generation Grundeinkommen achieved a number of 8’115.53 square meters and therefore they set a new Guinness World Record title.
